Monument Valley

Cover art
Surreal space, half-vacant buildings, full of art pictures in the game, you may think of these threes games -- Oquonie, Echochrome and Tengami.

The player is brought into the first chapter of the game directly, without the background story and the introduction of Princess Ida. Similar to Echochrome, the inspiration of the design to this game was from illusion graphic master MC Escher.

Its difficult to describe the ways to play, the players must accept the illogical space and enjoy everything that would come out. However, the player would feel relaxing to get through every chapter. You wont be anxious all the time.

The game shows the whole building in each chapter, players will see all the circumstances without worrying about finding the export urgently. Lower difficulty for the game also make most of the player to enjoy in relax and quilt mood. The designer Ken Wong said that the original intention was not to baffle everyone during the game, but to welcome all the people even those who seldom play games.

Though of lower difficulty, we could see that the design team did hard work for the appearance. The feature that the player can make screenshot during the game is also awesome. When you feel there is a beautiful picture you can make a screenshot immediately.

Except the beautiful pictures, the game sound is also great. You could hear the sound of the wind, the waves, the strings, etc. which put the players into a fantasy world by following the Princess Ida's story.
